The more you play the Xena TCG, the more strategies you will discover. Eventually you may identify key cards to build your deck around. For example, one of my decks main goal is to use unblockable characters in combination with the Major Jealousy Rage combat cards for big damage. Look for the strengths and weaknesses of your games, then continue to modify your decks to make them better!

Some Basic Strategies I Recommend:
- Pump up unblockable characters with the Major Jealousy Rage Combat Card
- Remember you can block with more than one character
- Sometimes it's better not to lose a card by blocking, in order to attack with that card next turn

Some of My Favorite Cards:
1. Treachery [this card always seems to swing the momentum back to you.]
2. Major Jealousy Rage [a bargain, deals great damage. Plus, it's Aphrodite!]
3. Dastardly Assassin [he's great, as long as you are the one putting him in play.]
4. Driven Hard by The Furies [cut your opponent's hand down to limit their options]
5. Horde Leader [a pretty powerful common card, with a fearsome attribute]
6. Chakram Strike [pummel your opponent's pesky blocker and deal some damage]
7. Celtic or Amazon Queen [great when used early by discarding your common card]
8. Town Judge [annoying as hell. You'll develop a love/hate relationship in no time!]
9. Flaming Arrows or Archer Attack [finish off your opponent's deck without a character]
10. Call The Horde [this can really cripple your opponent's chances to play cards]
11. Surrounded! [great dismissal card that gives you some options]
12. Ares' or Velasca's Wrath [straightforward dismissal card, very useful]
13. Underworld Escapee [regrow those action cards you want to use again!]
14. Siren's Call [return a high-priced attacker when defending, plus you draw a card]
15. Callisto [mmm. Callisto. She is a force to be reckoned with like always]
