MBTI® Qualifying Training There are two ways to qualify, or become eligible, to use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® assessment. One is to take a certification workshop specific to the MBTI tool. Zeisset Associates were providers of such workshops (until 2009 called “qualifying workshops”) for twenty-two years, but now certification workshops are offered only by the publisher, CPP, and by two organizations they license–AMA and CAPT. Zeisset Associates now offer the second option for eligibility to use the instrument: through a graduate level course in tests and measurement at an accredited college or university. We provide such a course at Doane College in Lincoln, Nebraska, where Ray Zeisset is an adjunct associate professor in the Master of Arts in Counseling Program. We are currently scheduled to offer “Professional Use of the MBTI and Other Instruments” twice this coming year: June 8-12, 2009 The course includes one follow-up session several weeks later. The June course involves
