Qualifying Workshop

Information which must be included about
the qualifying program:
Prerequisites

Have a professional reason for using the
MBTI® instrument

Have previously taken the
MBTI® assessment and received feedback. While
opportunity is offered to take the Indicator as part of the workshop, it
is essential that participants have some knowledge of their own type prior
to registration for the workshop.
Purpose

Basic knowledge for appropriate and ethical use and interpretation
of the MBTI® tool

Training in tests and measurements sufficient to meet requirements
of CPP for use of the
MBTI® instrument

History and theory of MBTI® Instrument

Characteristics of eight preferences and four
temperaments

Type dynamics (interaction of
preferences)

Type development (model of development of type
through life)

Applications overview (plus in-depth focus on
one application in 5-day workshops)

Basic statistics, tests and measurements as used
with the Indicator.

Construction issues
-
Administration, scoring and
interpretation

Ethical concerns
Workshop requirements

Prior completion of home study packet (recommended
minimum 40 hours)

Attendance at entire training session

Passing qualifying exam

Essay retake exam offered for additional fee
to those who do not pass qualifying exam

Those who successfully complete all parts of
the program, pass the exams at the 80% level, and demonstrate understanding
of appropriate use of type are recommended to CPP
for approval as users of the MBTI® instrument

Trainers are provided by Zeisset Associates,
Inc.

CPP, Inc., the publisher,
sets minimum requirements to use the MBTI® instrument.
Zeisset Associates is a CPP-approved
provider of MBTI® qualifying
training.

Zeisset Associates, Inc. is approved by CPP, Inc.,
to offer continuing education for Certified MBTI® Practitioners. The
CPP-approved provider maintains responsibility for the program.
