The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Instrument
The MBTI® instrument is the most widely used measure
of normal personality. It is based on the theory of Carl Jung about how people
have different preferences:
-
for the way they take in information
-
for the way they make decisions
-
how they are energized from the outer world or their inner world
-
how they prefer to structure their lives.
Identifying, understanding and appreciating these differences can enhance
communication, cooperation, self-esteem, relationships, and productivity
through objective and constructive use of the differences.
