For those already certified (qualified) to administer and interpret the MBTI® assessment, ZA
Master Practitioner workshops are available in three formats:
Half day (4 training hours)
· Experience exercises that can be used to identify MBTI type preferences and introduce
type dynamics in the context of an application of type.
One day (7 training hours)
· Add a conceptual framework to introduce the application topic to others.
Two days (14 training hours)
· Expand the scope of uses and implementation of the application topic.
Application Topics for Master Practitioner Continuing Education Workshops
Teams and Personality Type
- A half-day workshop offers experiences with exercises that can be used to identify
MBTI® preferences and introduce type dynamics in work settings.
- A one-day workshop adds an introduction to using type with teams in six areas:
communication, team culture, leadership, change, problem solving/conflict resolution,
and stress.
- A two-day workshop adds experience with exercises that can be used with teams in the
six issue areas, development of team working agreements, suggestions of approaches to
introduce type into an organization, and considerations of next steps in organizations
already using type.

Exploring Type and Communication
- A half-day workshop offers practice in listening for clues to type preferences and whole
type, and introduces the role of type dynamics in communication.
- A one-day workshop adds an introduction to communication theory based on use of
functions; practice in listening for expressions of introverted and extraverted functions;
effects of passion and stress on expressions of functions in communication; type-influenced definitions of words, and practice in adaptation of language to meet needs of
communication receivers.
- A two-day workshop adds effects of type development on expressions of functions in
communication; application of communication needs of different types to problem
solving; practice in speaking to all types in presentations; practice in recognizing
language that other types hear as stereotyping, and suggestions for increased clarity of
language usage in interpretation of type theory and assessment.

Personality Type in Times of Change and Transition

A half-day workshop offers experiences with exercises that can be used to identify
MBTI® preferences and introduce type dynamics in situations that involve change and
transition.
- A one-day workshop adds applying type to a framework of six stages of change: grief,
acknowledgment, transition and coping, stress, burn-out, and reconstruction.
- A two-day workshop adds type-related strategies for managing change, understanding
leadership, exploring career development, and recognizing transitions in stages of life.
The relative amount of emphasis given to the components of the second day can be
adapted to particular interests of the sponsoring group.

- A half-day workshop offers experiential presentations that illustrate learning
characteristics of the type table quadrants.
- A one-day workshop adds application of type concepts to development of
teaching/training activities.
- A two-day workshop adds exploration of functions and attitudes of functions in both
face-to-face and on-line learning situations.
