Publicity Guidelines for MBTI® Master Practitioner Workshops


Information to include about the Master Practitioner program:


Prerequisites:

  • Be a certified practitioner (previously called qualified practitioner) of the MBTI® instrument.

Or

  • Be educationally eligible to use the MBTI instrument (hold a bachelor’s degree and have satisfactorily completed a course in the interpretation of psychological assessments and measurement at an accredited college or university).

Purpose:

  • Expand and deepen knowledge of practical applications of MBTI concepts

Program content:

  • Characteristics of eight preferences in the context of an application of type
  • Framework for applying type to a specific use
  • Impact of type dynamics and development on the use of type in the context of the application
  • Description of the application focus
  • Ethical use of type

Education credit:

  • Master practitioner continuing education units

Trainers:

  • Trainers are provided by Zeisset Associates, Inc.
  • Zeisset Associates, Inc. is approved by CPP, Inc., to offer continuing education for MBTI7 Master Practitioners. The CPP-approved provider maintains responsibility for the program.

  • Type dynamics (interaction of preferences)
  • Framework for applying type to a specific use (two- and three-day workshops)
  • Impact of type development on the use of type in the context of the application (two- and three-day workshops)
  • Description of the application focus (two- and three-day workshops)
  • Ethical use of type

Logistics for MBTI® Workshop Sponsors


This information is provided to the site coordinator of a contracting organization for a Myers-Briggs® Workshop led by Zeisset Associates. Room arrangements, supplies and equipment, and food breaks are the responsibility of the contracting organization.

Please have a designated person to handle any site questions or problems as they arise during the workshop.



Room Set-up

  • U-shape or rounds preferable. Rectangular tables acceptable if angled so participants see each other
  • Table (not podium) for presenter.
  • Space for break-outs (usually 4 groups; may be up to 6) Best if room is large enough to accommodate break-outs within room

Supplies and Equipment


_____ Projector for PowerPoint and compatible computer


_____Easel with newsprint paper (plus additional pad of paper available) and marking pens


_____Masking tape (to hang newsprint)


_____Clock in room


Breaks

  • Short breaks are typically included every 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

  • It is desirable to have beverages available throughout the workshop day. At a minimum, cold water is desired at all times.
  • Workshop schedule includes 1 hour for lunch.
