Welcome.....
I'm Richard Alan Krieger,
and I appreciate you coming by to visit.
At my website, you will
experience various writings, artwork and projects that I have created over the years.
One of the main reasons
for me to accumulate my work together, is to promote myself in an effort to network with other like minds.
You will find from my
work, that I have a great passion for the creative arts, in particular music, along with having a strong desire to synthesize
information as a researcher of history.
In that regard, I have
put together a very special compilation of knowledge. This being, my recently published book, "Civilization's Quotations -
Life's Ideal." This book of the most inspirational quotations of humanity, outlines the "Ideal Life" we all aspire to.
One of the most unique
features of this book, is the concept of "Poetic Quotation." A technique where I have the various quotes flow into one another
as a "stream of consciousness." To read quotes and reviews of my book, please go to my other website @ http://home.earthlink.net/~zajjjj or go to my publisher's
website @ http://www.algora.com/2002/Quotations.htm.
I have also initiated
independent research projects over the internet such as "Analog vs. Digital Sound," "Global Warming," and "Awakening Sounds."
But it is the project "Awakening Sounds," that I am most fond of.
Many years ago, before
there was an alternative to the traditional clanging alarm clock, I pioneered a system of custom sounds to awake to that gradually
increased in volume. Today, this system is referred to in the alarm clock industry, as the "Ramp-up System."
One of the ways that
I promoted this "kinder and gentler way" of awakening, was to conduct a survey with the top sleep research labs from around
the world. To read the results of this survey, and to learn about "Awakening Sounds," please go to http://home.earthlink.net/~zajjjj/id1.html.
I'm also musically known
by the name "Crane" (nickname from Landscaping days) for my playing/recording trumpet/vocals with the Minutemen (and other
groups with various instruments).
To hear my songs, they're
@ StageFM http://www.stagefm.com/Crane and MySpace http://www.myspace.com/euphoriasdestination.
My Cyberspace Art Gallery

Details about my work
history and life story are at the Bio section of this website.
Thanks for visiting.
Respectfully,
Richard Alan "Crane"
Krieger
