I am a wondrous thing, a joy to women
a boon to neighbors, I disturb no none
except my slayer
My base is very high, I always stand in bed
all hairy underneath, sometimes one dares
offence, freeman's daughter fair
stout hearted virgin, seizes me
attacks me red, plunders my head
fixes on me fastly. Soon feels
my conflict's forcing me in
the woman with plaited locks, her eyes moisten
