So! You want to peek in my knitting bag? I don't blame you. I peek in other people's knitting bags every chance I get.
I have a few things that might inspire you, but since you showed up here I greatly doubt you need even more encouragement
to add to your stash of yarn, needles and patterns.
It's okay. I'm here to enable all yarnaholics who might be passing through.
If you see someone running around with a tape measure around her neck, three gauge swatches in her left hand, a fistful
of knitting needles in the other, stitch markers falling out of her pocket, pencil behind her ear and muttering things
don't worry--it's just me, the designer.
In my knitting bag you're going to find a growing collection of patterns. Some free, some not free. Most for knitting,
some for crocheting. In all cases, they will be my own designs.
Why do I charge a nominal fee for most of my patterns when the internet is a veritable treasure trove of free patterns?
Well, it's because a lot of work goes into making a pattern ready for publication, and I'm not a yarn manufacturer trying
to sell yarn via free patterns. So my pricing is a reflection of my time and the work involved. :)
I'll be using yarn from the cheapest acrylic to the loveliest cashmere, and all kinds in between. I'm not a yarn snob.
You can be one if you want, or you can knit with garage sale yarn. The main idea is to get knitting and enjoy yourself.
I'm providing patterns of various levels of difficulty, from beginner scarves to advanced lace work. Hopefully in the
mix, you'll find something you decide you MUST make.
Look around at the links and buttons. You're sure to find some helpful places to go for knitting instructions and supplies.
If you know of some more I should add, go ahead and let me know.
While you're poking around in my knitting bag, please ignore all that stuff at the bottom like the cat toys and candy
bar wrappers. I've been too busy knitting to clean it out.....
