My education and over 20 years of work experience in Japan and the U.S. has all been about two-demensional and three-dimensional
space design.
I believe that every public artwork has various missions. When I created theater sets, the mission was to entertain
the audience. When I created exhibits for museums, the mission was to educate. When I created murals for hospitals, the mission
was to give comfort. I think that all projects has many kinds of missions that are not only about making the space unique
and beautiful, but also to support and create a harmony with the surrounding environment and enhance it. The ultimate goal
of my work is to support people to feel happiness and joy with my art.
