The Supreme Taco Supreme Eater
MPS: Yuba City, CA, USA: Danny Le' Agnew has done it again. This last Sunday Mr. Le' Agnew repeated, for the third time, his victory in the Yuba City's Taco Bell's 23rd Annual Taco Supreme Eating Contest.
In a contest closer than the numbers suggest Mr. Le' Agnew defeated runner-up Jimmy Cabbort in the one hour contest. Under the rules the person eating the most Taco Supremes in an hour is the winner. Mr. Le' Agnew who ate 734 tacos bested Mr. Cabbort's final tally of 267.
When asked if he had a secret method of eating tacos that allowed him to down so many in so short a time, Mr Le' Agnew replied, "It's simple, I just swallow them whole. If one gets stuck in my throat I drink a glass of root beer."
It should be noted that Mr. Le' Agnew also holds the record for the most root beers consumed in one hour.
Mr. Le" Agnew also stated, " This will be my last taco eating contest. I think I will be switching to hot dog eating contests. They are much softer than tacos."
