At Yorkshire House, we'll keep you busy with plenty of leisure activities to enjoy.

Our full time activities director, just overflows with enthusiasm, along with the rest of the staff. A variety of activities are always being organized to match the wide range of interests and capabilities of our residents.

Lou Anne, our resident hairdresser / beautician, is never in a rush and spoils everyone, even if they just wander in for a chat or a coffee. Yorkshire House has events to entertain, educate, and exercise.

Typical activities include:

• Live musicians
  
• Group lunch trips to a local restaurant
  
• Games of all interests
  
• Art and craft classes
  
• Entertainers bring in their performing pets
  
• Group exercises (for all capabilities including those in a wheelchair)
  
• Guided walks through our landscaped park and gardens.
  
• Religious services on a Sunday
  
• Birthday parties (it's always somebody's birthday !)
