Yoga Soldiers began with a dream that affordable small yoga figurines could proliferate and eventually replace the classic
small plastic army men toys. The little yogis would form a peaceful army that would eventually make "army" an obsolete term. This
army would become an new entity, with new means to a new end.
Sitting with friends in the backyard, you pull out your yogi soldiers and begin a new day of practice. "Wow, that yogi
can hold trikanasan for 2 hours!" you hear a friend declare with gusto. "These yogis will organize a sit-in today at
the White House; the clean air bill is being compromised again and the President must know how we feel!" another claims.
The hours of fun and creativity are endless with Yoga Soldiers.
Of course, the little yogis can practice anywhere, and would not mind posturing on a computer monitor, or window sill
indefinitely.
They can be studied, and help with your alignment in your own practice. It is good to have a visual association
to understand where your body is going to eventually go.
Please Note: We accept the fact that army men are very popular, but the dream persists.
Perhaps, some day, they will play side by side.
