Herbal Medicine Making
- Parts I & II
An introduction to 26 plant allies; a good foundation for self-care. Learn basic skills of making herbal medicines, including
infusions, decoctions, salves, poultices, pills, cough syrup, oils, liniments, vinegars, and tinctures as well as how to use
them. Discussion of remedies for common ailments and development of formulas. Includes hand-outs, samples and a guided herb
walk in Part II. Empower yourself.
Parts I and II (can be taken separately - 4 class sessions each part):

Cooking for Health & Vitality with efficiency & ease!
12:30-6:30pmLearn basic principles of healthful cooking that you can apply as you shop and
cook for yourself and loved ones. We will discuss time saving tips, preparation techniques, ideas and inspiration. Together
we will prepare and enjoy delicious, balanced and nutritious foods. $125 includes recipes and tasting. (5.5 hours) Early registration

Herbal First Aid Kit
Learn herbal first aid strategies and what to have on hand. We will make a good, all purpose ointment together. You will leave
with a sample of the ointment as well as plenty of inspiration and information to start your own First Aid Kit. $45 (2.5

Learn home remedies and wisdom passed down from mothers and healers over the ages. You will leave with plenty of inspiration
and information to create your own Home Remedies. $45 (3 hours)

I will share about the herbs I include in my own travel kit so that you, too, may travel with herbal blessings and good health!

Sweethearts Secrets: Sensual Herbal Delights
Learn to make sensual herbal delights for bath, beauty and love. Together we will prepare and /or discuss herbal massage and
bath oils, body powders and lotions, honey lip balm, edible facial scrub, beauty creme, aftershave, love potions and more!

Celebrations with Plants
Create and/or discuss inexpensive holiday gifts and nurturing herbal treats, including decorative garlands, body powders and
creams, love potions, lip balm, elixirs, sachets, bath and massage oils, edible facial scrubs, simple culinary delights, festive
beverages, and more! a 5-6 hour celebration (usually 10am - 3 or 4pm).
