Joey and Chandler
Joey, Chandler, Starling and D'Lucien, living versions of rattie beanie babies. Super sweet personalities, calm and loving snuggle bums.

Joey and Chandler were born here, Chandler was suppose to be adopted out and I informed Bella that if she didn't find him a home I was going to name him Chandler because I had already adopted his brother Joey. That strategy didn't work very well as Chandler is now a full-fledge Tribe Member. I can only tell the two apart by weight and lickiness. Joey is bigger and will lick you to death.

Left and above

BN/ZT Joey is a Dumbo Russian Blue Burmese. Careful, don't fall in love. He's MINE!!

Above and Left - BN Starling is a Dumbo Mink Self. He's the quietest and meekest of the group and seems to be fond of giving me a heart attack by sleeping almost comatose out in the open areas of the cage. I never actually had to nudge a young rat awake until Starling arrived. I can never figure out why he gives me the WTF? look when I do it.

Above and Left - BN/PX D'Lucien is a Dumbo Rexed Russian Blue Dalmation. Lucien carries the signature Velociraptor claws of the Florida Dalmation line. Giving him a bath is akin to wrestling a rabid bobcat. Besides a virulent dislike of water, he is an amiable happy-go-lucky fella.

Above and left - BN/ZT Chandler is also a Dumbo Russian Blue Burmese. He is a bit smaller than Joey and not quite as affectionate. It may have something to do with the fact he has to compete with the bigger boys for attention and he doesn't like getting stepped on by them. Poor fella!

Zoo is not the only nickname that I have been given. My coworkers of several years called me Sunshine. Amusingly, the name would follow me to other places of employment having no connection to the first. I reckon it's my sunny personality. Right?
