Now I know people find rats with red eyes scary, mostly because they sway when they look at you. It's nothing to be afraid
of, they are attempting to focus. Bad eyes ya know..but little rattie-sized glasses are not an option.
Now see? They are not quite so scary when you know they are near-sighted!
This is Marsh, he's a standard pew rex and he came from the west coast of Florida near St Pete. Not a man of pedigree, he's
more like a longshoreman with really beautiful hair. He's built like a brick and is extremely outgoing.
He's the alpha of the cage, which includes Mango and BN Toosix.
Dog Eat Doug
This is BN Toosix - Dumbo American Blue - TooSix is named in honor of another rat of mine named WunSix. It's complicated.
He's very squishy and displays the wonderful temperament of Bellaratta's Nest rats.
As you can see, we have tortured him on several occasions to get these shots.
Don't laugh too hard at his name, he has a sibling named Wooo Wooo.
Little Bunny TooSix, hopping thru the forest...
Shown here with TooSix, is Mango. He's a standard PEW and came from down near Palm Bay with his brother Banana and his sister's
Lily and Kiwi. Banana has passed away, but the two sisters are alive and well. I can't say enough about this fella, he is
absolutely the softest rat I have ever owned and he tolerates me giving him pink cheeks! (see video for explanation)
Mango's sister Lily, another Standard PEW
BN Jayla - Dumbo Russian Blue Siamese
I have two of her sons, Joey and Chandler.
Kiwi, another sister of Mango and another standard PEW. I can tell her apart from Lily because of the nicked ear. NO, I didn't
do it!! I don't mutilate my animals for identification or beautification.
Okay, Okay...I may use a Sharpee now and then, but that washes off!!
