Can i play back 100kht Audio Files even when i can't sample at this rate? From what i see i can only do a 50khz with my PSMT.

Of course.  The input section is completely seperate from the output. That is unless you have REALLY old PSV cards.

When i do the upgrade in a few months or so i would like to get the following packed in a very small rack.

-32 Voices, 64MB RAM (one polybin)
   -Keyboard connector for VK
-SMPTE In (and out if possible...i have an In/Out in the DTD so one could maybe move it to the PSMT)
-MIDI for MTC and MIDI gear (at the moment i have 1 MIDI In / 4 out)
   -16 MultiChannel outs
-no FM would be fitted in the system
-Sampling Inputs ??? i don't think they would be necessary when using the PCI card since i can use an external AD-Converter and transfer the sounds to the Synclav.

Well, you need S/Link to convert the sounds to Synclav format and S/Link does not recognize the PowerPC hardware.  You could have an external drive for your smaller PCI system and then you can transfer those sounds from the external hard drive to a Synclav disk image.  Eventually Demas will have a routine within its operating system that will convert Synclav sounds from hard drives and disk images to AIFF.

I think that's it. Do you think it would fit in a 12" rack as Mitch once said?

Supposedly so.  I have never seen it; just heard about it from different people who HAVE seen it.
