The eldest child of 3.  My brother Grant now lives in Melbourne, Australia with his wife Susanne. My sister, Ylia, married her High School Sweetheart, Wayne Kendall and she lived in the Hutt Valley until the end of '04. She now lives on the Gold Coast of Australia.

 

I got the travel bug when I was 21 and went with my school friend, Alison McLean on our O.E. in '83 to the USA and Europe.   Returned to my fiance' and married in '84.   Two wonderful sons resulted, Richard and Anthony.   Anthony was born in England, where we lived from '88 to '93.  

 

Returned to NZ with the boys (divorced)to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher, had four great years at Vic Uni and WCOE.  Had many adventures with my sons.  We moved to rural Levin in 1997 where we spent many fun times at our beachhouse at Waitarere Beach.

 

Met my second husband who I was very much in love with, we wed in '99.   Moved to Houston, Texas 2002 and then the fairytale crashed at the end of that year.   Happily staying on in the USA since we gained our permanent residency status.  The boys have both moved off to college and had my third chance at love with my new husband Bob. We are looking forward to enjoying life more than ever together and working on achieving our "dream home" which I designed. 

 

Loving my job as a High School Teacher here - very rewarding and demanding in that order.   Houston has a Hot sub-tropical climate and I love it!

 

Finishing my Masters Summer 2009 going to Jamaica for the last course. I've begun torevitalize my physical body again and get rid of the last few years of stress fat! and back into an active lifestyle working out, cycling,kayaking, swimming,tennis and golf now that we have completed our dream lakehouse. Also looking forward to becoming a "nana" to my first grandchild. resume
