Working Altar in the East
Mountain Temple Center
This
general-purpose altar/worktable is in the lower room of the temple,
where is also located the library and meeting-room. The yellow
curtains signify the direction as being in the East. The Red, Blue,
and Green curtains (out of view) mark the other walls. Various
implements of general magick purport adorn the altar top; its
configuration and general appearance change regularly depending on
the ritual or work being done at any given time.
There is also
a large stone altar outside, in the Sacred Circle, used most often
during group ritual workings. A photo of this can be seen elsewhere
in this Tour section.
