Former Rice volleyball coach Debbie Sokol conducts one of the more prestigious camps at The University of St. Thomas.

I got to go to her camp this July. I had a GREAT time.

This is a camp for 4th through 8th graders. I was SHOCKED and unbelievably surprised to be presented the award for Most Outstanding Player at the camp!

I've put together a page for my volleyball. Click and check it out!

Writing is one of my FAVORITE pastimes. I love writing prose, poetry... anything! I have entered a few contests and won some awards. My parents, teachers, and friends have encouraged me to keep writing, and I appreciate their interest.

Follow this link to read my "literary works." I hope you enjoy them.

The Living Museum was a history project completed by the Armand Bayou Elementary 5th grade. We had to choose an American historical figure and write a one min. speech about them in narrative form. Then, in the last week of school, we dressed like our character and created a "living museum" in the library where the whole school could come and see us perform. It was a lot of fun!

I chose Jackie Kennedy, a first lady who had been a role model of mine since third grade, when I saw a really cool book about her at the bookstore. For this project, I learned a lot about her life, personality, and her term as first lady, which was cut short by the assassination of her husband in Dallas, Texas.

But why let me tell you? Read it for yourself!
