Okay, it's not really the beginning of the trail... but it is where the trail bends around some of the nearby townhomes. It's one of my favorite parts of the trail because the trees close in on the trail; you really feel like you're out in the wilderness, not in suburbia. The day was bright and sunny so I got some great shadows in this shot.
