i r e l a n dHalloween 1999 found me in Ireland for the Dublin Marathon. I participated in the marathon as a member of the Joints in Motion Training Team, which raises money for the Arthritis Foundation. This was the most adventurous thing I had done to date, so I came prepared with lots of film and three (yes, THREE!) cameras. My Advantix camera would have color film; my sister's 35mm would have B&W. I also had a disposable waterproof camera for the race itself. It's a good thing I brought so many cameras, because little did I know, my Advantix was broken--none of the pictures I took with it developed properly! I still cry over this. I do, however, have some awesome B&W photos, plus a few in color from the roll that was still in the camera. We only had five days in Dublin and a majority of our time was taken up by race activities, so I didn't get to see much of the country. I took many pictures of what I did see, though, and I've chosen some of the best ones to display here. or click here to AIM me |
