Playing Around
WOOHOO! I just found $6 I didn't know I had!
Decided to go to lunch at
Panera today even though it would mean I'd lose my awesome parking space. Since when does Panera have table service? I very much liked, as I was carrying my writing journal and couldn't have handled juggling a tray of soup, a soda, and a journal. Lunch was my usual you-pick-two with Chicken Salad on Honey wheat (no sprouts or onion) and Broccoli Cheddar Soup (mmm... broccoli!).
Managed to get exact same parking spot upon returning to work. Go me!
Walked into building via concourse, where I encountered a man wearing an Uncle Sam hat with a red, white and blue lei around his neck walking the other way. I held the door open for him. He thanked me by tooting his horn at me. Not sure whether to be flattered or disgusted by that.
Was going to stop to buy fireworks on way home from work, but discovered I have $40 in my name until next Wednesday (YIKES!) so that plan is cancelled. Works out, actually, since boyfriend is not fond of fireworks anyway.
My totally evil boyfriend has gotten me addicted to Final Fantasy. I have the Gen M soundtrack (er, I think that's the one) running through my mind constantly these days (when I'm not humming
"Macho Macho Duck", that is), and I cannot wait to go home and play some more
FFVII. Damn him.
Have also been influenced by
other evil creatures lately. Gone ahead and got addicted to
Dance Dance Revolution as well. *sigh* At least I'm getting some exercise.
This fic could quite possible be the worst
Harry Potter fanfic I've ever read. Discovered it when I printed a random fic for quickly-needed bathroom reading material. Should have flushed it down the toilet.
There's activity on
my writing board again! YAY! Been thinking again of creating sister site for it. May do that this weekend while the boyfriend attempts to finish
FFVIII. Am now humming the Triple Triad theme. Damn him.
Just about time to go home, yay!
