In the "Just in the nick of time" category, here's the Friday Five, forty minutes before Friday ends.
1. What's your favorite TV show and why? It's a tie between Angel and Buffy, which happen to be the only two shows I watch. Why do I like them? They've got everything: humor, horror, drama, & action. But the real reason I enjoy them is
the story comes from the characters, which is
the way it should be.
2. Who is your favorite television star? Um... no one. Haven't crushed on a TV star in, gosh, almost a year? I forget.
3. What was your favorite TV show as a child? First there was Romper Room. Then Sesame Street. Huckleberry Hound, Tom & Jerry, moose & squirrel. The Great Space Coaster (get on board!). Speedy Gonzales. Family Ties. MacGyver (they so need to release this on DVD!). Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. DuckTales. Star Trek: The Next Generation. seaQuest. Sliders. The X-Files. Buffy. Dawson's Creek. Felicity. Angel. That's pretty much the list, in rough chronological order.
4. What show do you think should have been cancelled by now? No opinion -- I don't watch enough tv to know what's on.
5. What new show do you hope escapes the axe this season?See question 4.
Since we're talking about TV, does anyone happen to have the first episode of Relativity on tape? The show only lasted one season (if that), but I really loved it, and have been dying to see the first couple of episodes again.
