Hello, my name is Jennifer Lemacks I’m presently 25 years old, a single white woman
with no children. I’m 5 foot 2 with hazel eyes that love to change color. I enjoy sight seeing and love the outdoors.
I truly believe laughter is good for the soul.
I’m currently serving a 30 year sentence for conspiracy to assault. Battery with intent
to kill, assault battery with intent to kill and lynching 1st degree.
At the time of this crime, I just turned 18 years old and graduated high school. I didn’t
realize my life would end up in such turmoil by involving myself with the wrong guy., the wrong crowd and drugs.
It all began by being used as a scapegoat for the friends I had, only to get even with the
victims. I was asked to make a phone a call to one of the victims. He and his friend were to meet me on a dirt road. I truly
believed there would only be a confrontation between the guys. Never did I have any knowledge there would be guns involved.
I never stepped outside the vehicle during the crime, nor did I have knowledge of them carrying weapons either.
After the crime I fully cooperated with the police investigation telling all I knew. I even
assisted them with the catching of two co-defendants by showing them where they were after I had knowledge of their whereabouts.
Never would I have involved myself with these people had I known they were going to commit
such a hideous crime. I definitely was hanging out with the wrong people at the wrong place, at the wrong time.
Prior to this incident I’ve never had any criminal charges or any dealings with the
law. I truly made the wrong choice at a young age and now am paying with my life.
I and so many others are charged with the Hands of One, Hands of All law. We are sentenced
under this law because of someone else’s thoughts and actions. Never does one know what’s going through another’s
mind nor what their thoughts may lead up to. Do you think it’s fair for us to be victims of these circumstances? I’m
currently fighting this sentence, and need as much help and support as possible.
