My name is Barbara “Bobbie” Phillips. I am 39 years old. I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I am the youngest of six children. I am the mother of four beautiful children. I am a family oriented person. I love to learn about a variety of subjects, but especially the medical field. I was employed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse prior to my incarceration.

Before this case, I was a law abiding, productive member of society. I did not indulge in drugs, alcohol, or tobacco. How I got caught into this mess, this behooves me. I do realize I had bad judgment , extremely. My case is complicated because my trial attorney did not present any mitigating factors for my defense. A life without the possibility of parole is unjustifiable considering there was no participation by me in the crime.

I pray all the time that I am given the opportunity to reunite with my children and given another chance to live a law abiding, productive life again. My prayer is that whomever reads this can find it in their hearts to assist my endeavor for freedom.
