Boldon won the 200m, with a track record mark of 20.24. His qualifying times were 20.67 (second place in his prelim heat) and 20.40 (best time in the semis). In his 100m semi heat, Boldon, the favorite was not able to compete in the 100m final. The junior college transfer from San Jose entered the NCAA meet with the fastest times in the nation in both sprints (10.01w-20.08). At the '95 Pac-10 meet, he became the third Bruin in the last four years to win both events. At the conference meet, his 10.08 winning mark in the 100m was a meet and stadium record, the second best time in school history and the fourth best all-time mark in the Pac-10. His 20.08 winning time in the 200m was a stadium record, personal best, a new UCLA school mark and the second-best time in Pac-10 history.
