Worldwide Hello, Inc., a foreign language translation
company based in Ormond Beach, was again called upon by the
government to localize and update a Joint US-China
Workshop focusing on the Physical Protection of Nuclear
Facilities given in Beijing.
Localization involves taking a product and making it
linguistically and culturally appropriate for the target
locale, in this case China. The main focus of localization
is usually translation.
Under
tight deadlines, the company was required to translate and
validate course materials related to the safety and security
of Nuclear Facilities from English into Chinese. Worldwide Hello
has also partnered with the government to provide similar content
suitable for other languages and locations.
