Kids Chemistry Camp Instructor (6/03 - 8/03)

 

Wrote Kids Chemistry Camp curriculum introducing the principals of matter, solubility, phase change, acids, bases and observation of chemical reactions to students aged 4 - 7 yrs. Guided students through the curriculum using visual models and physical activities, demonstrated scientific method through hands-on child-safe experiments and projects reinforcing chemistry principals.

Led groups of 8 - 13 yrs. students through the design and construction of soapbox racers while safely using a variety of hand and power tools.
