|During the San Francisco earthquake of 1989, I was told that bicycles were the only way to travel around the city and some people even rode on the Bay Bridge. It proved to be the perfect urban vehicle.|
Now, what would happen if there was such a disaster that even the bikes were destroyed. How would you get around then? My solution is the urban recycling cycle. One idea that came to me was to salvage rebar that normally reinforces concrete to make a bicycle. And here it is.
