This is a popular design. ---- It has a hull thickness of 6mm mar.
ply. and a bottom thickness of 9mm. - With a hull weight of about 110#, it pushes easily with oars or a small outboard.
- It uses 3 1/2 sheets of marine plywood and takes about 40 hrs. build time.
A V bottom tape seam skiff, w/a 10 degree deadrise. loa is 15'3" X 6'2" and weighs 550#.

This is the largest skiff that we have. - At 18'2" and a beam of 6'8" this skiff will handle a big load. - Outboards
from 40 to 90hp are reccommended.
Another shot of the M16V. Powered by a 25hp Merc Bigfoot 4 stroke, it clocked 27mph w/2 aboard.

A rugged and versatile utility skiff, it can be used for work or play.
Tom Rowe ownes this Chog 18 - center console . It was built by JMCS and finished by Tom.
- It has the optional 1" thick bottom and a transom that is 2" thick. The 50 hp 4 stroke Evinrude by (suzuki) pushes

Built by Patrick Ronan in the 06-07 winter, this Chog 16 clocked over 30 mph with its Suzuki. --- It's a
great all around skiff. Use w/a tiller or it can be fitted with a center console. Power from 15 to 25 hp. w/a hull weight
of 375# it doesn't need a lot of hp.
