This Victorian Townhouse

was one of the first dollhouses I built.

It has been moved numerous times

and needs serious restoration work!

I don't even remember the name of the kit,

but I bought it from Lee Wards' in the early 1980's.

The kitchen addition is the Primrose kit by Corona

(which Spike helped me do--see pictures at the bottom of the page!)

The master bedroom furniture was made from

a Scientific Models/Realife Miniatures kit.

The dining room also has the parlor organ

and the Christmas tree,

which sits in a window bay on the front of the house.

The furniture is a mix of House of miniature kits,

Chrysnbon kits, and store-bought.

The kitchen addition is the Primrose kit by Corona.

The stove and cabinet are Chrysnbon kits

and the rest of the furnishings were bought.

I need to add curtains to the windows!

There is laundry hanging in the garret.

This is the nursery,

and next to it as a small sewing room.

The bathroom was also made from a Realife kit.

The roll of toilet paper is not authentic to the

style of the house and I need to remove it..

The parlor furniture is also mostly Realife kits,

I designed the room around the ornate "marble" fireplace.

This is Spike, one of our "little boys"

who is VERY HELPFUL

(strange new use of the word...)

He discovered he could just fit into the addition,

and was extremely disappointed when I filled

it with furniture!

He has "helped" with all the dollhouses I have built.
