These are some of the quilts and comforters I have made. They are all hand pieced, hand-quilted and hand-finished.

This is ChesterMyles posing on a summer quilt I made from Kitty Cucumber fabric with wallpaper stripe sashing.
It is quilted all around each of the panels.
Chester thinks he is MUCH cuter than the cats on the quilt!

This is not a quilt per se, as it isn't quilted.
The cats were appliqued onto the squares and then jopined together.
The eyes are buttons fastened through all the quilt layers.
That and the whiskers provide the tufting for this comforter.

This is a wholecloth quilt; the central panel is all one piece, with complementary border prints and solid color bands
 making the drop panels.
The fabric is an early 19th century reproduction fabric.
This is quilted around the birds on the central panel, in the channels of the bands, and in a feather pattern in the solid areas.

This is a pattern I drafted and adapted from various star patterns.
I call it "Moravian Satr" as it is rerally just a very large and elaborate "Star of Bethlehem" pattern.
It is all done with squares and half squares. It is tufted, not quilted.

This is a close-up of the feather quilting.
I used a dark cranberry thread
to make the stitching stand out.

Mennonite and Amish quilts inspired me to make this comforter.
It is sometimes called "Jacob's Ladder" and sometimes called "Stars and Bars."
The squares are set on point which makes this pattern a little more dynamic than a straight four-patch.

The little ball of orange fluff in the upper left corner is Syndey, helping me back this quilt which I made for our local no-kill cat shelter (NEADY CATS) to auction off as a fund-raiser.
I made up "kits" for the cat faces which included all the fabric, and various people made up most those patches for me.
All the fabric and notions were donated to the project.
I sewed it all together and tufted it with the knot and trailing ends making the cat whiskers.
