Who We Are
Get in Touch With Us

We're just getting started on this page. We have numerous Sacred Sites on the land but we won't be showing pictures of them all - just the more public ones. To see the rest you have to come visit, and the Land has to allow you even then. We take our guardianship of these places quite seriously and some spots "call" to people to come visit them. Other people never hear a thing. We pay close attention to what We hear about those who visit us, but don't let that deter you from getting in touch.

Aspens just turning golden behind the sweatlodge. We take the covers off when it's not in use.

MoonRock as seen from Sacred Mountain. What amazing Full Moon rituals we've had here.

While not specifically a ceremonial site our hottub ( ok so it's really a claw foot castiron/porcelein bathtub) has been very important in many of our rituals - sweats and initiations mostly. And a good hot soak now and then as long as you don't build too large a fire under it and burn yourself. Very uncomfortable.  If you look closely at the middle left side, at the base of the aspens ( the lighter green trees), is the Sweat Lodge uncovered before a ceremony.

There are several more Ceremonial sites on the land. But most visitors never go to them. These are the ones that hold a particular energy and history that makes them places that we only go to when we have need ourselves. Part of our job as caretakers is to care for these places as well.

The sweat as we're readying it for a special ceremony without the fire or rocks. Before any ceremony involving the lodge we scrape the ground down to mineral soil,  so we're sitting on nothing but the earth.

The shot above us here is a picture of lilacs we planted almost 20 years ago framing the entrance to the south end of the Ceremonial Circle.

To the left is a bird's eye view of it before our stump seats became firewood. We have held many Ceremonies here, from daily ritual to initiations, to full-blown circles with dozens of people.

Above is a picture of Sacred Mountain taken from near the cabins. What you can't see is the 100' deep valley in between the two. It's a real hike to get to the top. And below is a picture of getting to the top. Almost there. It's an amazing place..

A final note - this website has a lot of pictures on it, and they tend to load slowly. So don't give up - there really is something there worth waiting for. Thanks for your patience.
