Here are a few shots to give you an idea of the land around where WolfDance is located. There
are so many different things to see depending on where you look. Here are a few of the magnificent views we get from some
of the higher parts of the Land. But we can also see Mt Omak from our kitchen window on a clear day and the views from within
the land are equally wonderful. We have about a 330degree view of the surrounding land and more even from Sacred Mountain
– an almost separate mountain we’ve designated for Ceremony of all kind – from the New Fire Ceremony, to
Vision Quests, to scatterring the ashes of loved ones who have died. It’s a glorious place to be and we give thanks
every day we are so grateful to be the caretakers of this land… We hope these pictures can show you a bit of why we
feel this way, but to really feel it you have to be here. We’re open to potential visitors as time goes by, and we have
shared this land with many in our community. It feels like a gift to be able to do this. So enjoy the Views and come visit!!

To the left is a view to the South and Omak and Okanogan, and towards the southwest
and the first of the mountains of the Cascades, whose foothills we are in. This shot was taken from the top of Sacred Mountain.

We get some spectacular weather around the Okanogan. This is a storm brewing up from the south
where most of them come from. It looks like it's gonna bring us some much needed water. It's challenging living in drought
country. You really realize how precious water is. It's amazing what a good shower you can take with less than a couple gallons
of water if you're mindful of its use.

Another shot to the north east loking towards Canada. In the middle left of the picture just to the right of the tree
you can see a smallish white capped rounded dome. This is called Whitestone Mountain and is believed by many local folks to
be a spaceship landing site. And I don't mean just the new agers and hippies who live there now. This has been going on for
decades. We stayed at a place near it one winter and drove by frequently. The area we drove through - Horse Springs Coulee
- seemed like a perfect landing spot. We saw lights from WolfDance on a few occassions that didn't conform to regular flying
patterns. I wonder what we were seeing?? Or should I say who??

The shot on the left
below is looking east towards the nearest town to us,Tonasket, in the foreground, and the Aeneas Valley and the mountains
of the Kettle range beyond. All these pictures show scenes 50 or more miles in the distance, and at the higher points
we can see even further. At certain points we have about a 330 degree view, only cut off by the mountains to the west
of us - the Cascadess themselves.
