Draupnir Webring
The Draupnir Ring is for Asatru, Heathen, and Germanic* history, language, literature, culture, archeology, mythology and creative sites of high quality.
The purpose of this ring is to promote sites of interest to those practicing the ancient pre-christian religion now known as Asatru or Heathenism. Although some good information can be found on Historic recreation sites, I disallow them on Draupnir, as well as Role Playing Games and Fantasy sites. Asatru is a living religion, and I want the sites in this webring to be of a religious or scholastic nature. In this way we make clear the distinction between daily spiritual practice and recreational role playing.
Since this is an Asatru-specific webring, other pagan traditions and ecclectic sites are not allowed. Draupnir allows historic, linguistic and archaeological sites because knowlege of ancient times informs our modern religious and spiritual practice.
Because Draupnir's purpose is to promote the Asatru Religion and the scholarship that enriches it, I do not allow purely commercial sites in this webring.

Under NO circumstances will sites that contain hate-mongering, racist, nazi, or satanic content or (links to such) be admitted to the Draupnir Ring! Under hate-mongering I include those Black Metal bands who promote hate and racism.

Draupnir is for websites that are developed and have something worth-while to say. If you have a single page with some links and an under construction sign, don't bother. And remember folks: all sites admitted to the Draupnir Ring are there at the Webmaster's discretion.

This said, Draupnir welcomes your submissions. Join us in promoting each others' quality Germanic religion, history and language sites!



*this includes German, Dutch, Frisian, Faroese, Scandinavian, English and Icelandic



Submit a site to the Draupnir Ring:

Provide your web site address (URL).


Name your web site (50 characters or less).


Describe your web site (400 characters or less).



After you submit your site, you will receive an e-mail containing your site ID
and other information. Use instructions below to install the Draupnir Ring
graphic/navigation panel to your site.
