This is just a little about me and where I live.

Austin is a great place to live!!!!

First, this is what Austin *is not*.

Located in the "Heart of Texas" in Hill Country, Austin is the state capital, home to state government and several fine unversities (including the University of Texas), and the center of a booming high tech industry. We are a metropolitan city with a small town feel. A tour of Austin shows that we are located in a great place to spend time outdoors, too!

Finally, here is one thing that Austin *is*.

About my family and me.

I was a fifth grade teacher in Austin for 10 years, but now, I'm a graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin. I'm working on my Ph.D. in Instructional Technology My husband, John, is a partner at the law firm of Clark, Thomas and Winters. We have two great kids, Dan and Sarah.
