There are many screenwriting sites out there... way too many if you ask me. It sometimes feels like every screenwriter who has too much time on their hands would rather set up a website than sit down and write their script. (Uh, present company excepted, of course.)
Anyway, there are some really great sites out there and the ones below are the best, IMHO. They're not after your money or your time, they simply want to offer you information they feel is important for screenwriters to know. And that, IMHOA(gain) is what the Internet is all about!
Charles Deemer
Charles Deemer was one of the first people to put up a page on the web devoted to screenwriting, The Screenwriters & Playwrights Home Page . Sadly, he no longer maintains it, but you can still go to an archive where he's condensed the most imnprtant information and provides you links to others.

Dr. Jack R. Stanley and the SCRNWRiT Listserv FAQ
Scrnwrit was a listserv devoted to screenwriters that was moderated by Dr. Stanley. (If you're not familair with it, a listserv is where you sign up to receive emails on a focused topic. Anything you write and send to the listserv is sent out to all the subscribers of it, and vice versa.) Dr. Stanley has taken years of SCRNWRiT and formulated it into an exhaustive FAQ divided up into 16 "chapters" so you can puruse the ones that suit your interests. If you have a question about screenwriting or the business of screenwriting, I truly believe it has been asked and answered somewhere on this FAQ.
The Horror Screenwriter's Page
Mr. Jeff Beres runs the premier genre screenwriting site on the web. If you have any interest in writing a horror or thriller type of script, you must check this site out. Heck, if you have an interest in almost any kind of genre writing, you should visit this site, as it's chock full of info, links and just plain fun and interesting stuff. And don't worry, the site's not too scary ... the real frightening part is the mind that operates it!
Ink Tips' Tips For Writers
I don't know much about the Ink Tip site as a whole, but they do have a very good section devoted to an extremely important aspect of screenwriting, and that's the marketing of what you have written. All the info on how to write and the writing itself are for naught if you don't get someone to read it and, hopefully, buy it. The business of showbusiness can be very tough and depressing, but you need to face that it is an essential aspect of writing and you need to know how to approach it. This site will help get you up and started.
Any other screenwriting sites I should add to this list? As always, any and all suggestions are encouraged!
