Thankful

Although some distance does divide us,
My heart and home are open wide.
Each to receive a priceless love,
No other could provide.
Our days may swell with laughter,
Or bring tears we must subdue.
But these moments I am thankful for,
Because they're shared with you.
So we may not be together,
And today finds us miles apart.
But as I pray for all I'm thankful for,
It's having you within my heart.
