So Blessed Are We

If we were given but a solitary instant,
To address all that’s in our hearts.
We’d select the day that honors the Lord’s finest gift,
A pledge of eternity initiated though faith and a star.
We’d hold to that moment, and halt it in time,
With dread it may pass before we’re able to speak.
Words that illuminate a love growing, each and every day.
It’s because of you’re in our life, that so blessed are we.
