She Loved A Lifetime

In a single heart she reserved the room,
To hold us lovingly with pride.
As we bathed in a comfort of outstretched arms,
That enveloped us inside.

She loved for a lifetime,
Giving so much from her soul.
In her leaving we are left
An immense aching hole.

Yet it’s known deep in our hearts,
With her farewell we would find
A new angel to guide us,
Of a miraculous kind.

Our own precious Nellie,
Has earned her crowning reward.
As she glances from heaven
On the arm of the Lord.
