For Jeremy

He loved and he laughed,
And he brought us to smile.
Touching our lifetime,
For too short a while.

In each new day we will find,
That the sun will shine brighter.
And each heart he still dwells in,
Will feel so much lighter.

For the boy that we cherished,
Grew to the man that we love.
A wondrous gift so bequeathed,
From our heaven above.

His soul will still shine,
If we cherish each minute.
For this world was blessed,
With our Jeremy in it.
