I've Found The Perfect Fishing Spot

I’ve found the perfect fishing spot,
And here I’ll wait for you.
Please don’t shed one single tear,
Though our days were just too few.
I’ve found some peace on heaven’s shores,
As I bury my toes in dry warm sand.
I heed your heartbeats in the wafting air.
And with my soul I grasp each hand.
I know you feel me in every breath,
And I’ll do my best to ease the pain.
Knowing the only comfort that I can give,
Is know that we’ll be together again.
I cast my line in the crystal stream,
It’s impact echoes and roams.
Each ripple carries my deepest love,
Until it reaches home.
The water is clear and reflective,
It mirrors all that I hold dear.
And I know this much, that I was blessed,
To always have you near.
I loved you each and every day.
And for every day anew.
I stand with the Lord on heaven’s coast,
            And here we’ll wait for you.
