Never to say goodbye at all.
To my beautiful precious friend.
Only to say once purely.
Until we may meet again.
For in the Lord’s intense embrace,
You are held so very tight.
And still within my aching heart,
I will find you there tonight.
Your whispers of love,
May echo in the moments I find need.
For all the grace you’ve ever given,
Has flourished from a treasured seed.
Your soul soars free in those you’ve touched.
And I pray for the world to see.
The beautiful person that were,
Reflected now in me.
