Christmas Beacon

Mild Christmas winds bear, celebrations of note.
Genuine pledges for those willing to hear.
For those who chose to believe, eternity was vowed,
With new life from God’s Son….We’ve no fear.

He lived as a beacon to illuminate our lives,
Gleaming so brightly, through vigorous storms.
A clear route to follow to find our way home,
To the seaside where his love adorns.

Heaven’s shelter is spun, so we can safely evolve.
Loving each another in kind.
Beside pristine waters, bathed in a heavenly glow.
One unspoiled instant we find.

Our day to commemorate His only Son’s birth,
And the world he’s left all aglow,
With a symbol that brings us, where we should be.
As one Christmas star did long ago.
