Well what can I say about us? My name is Wendy.  Bill and I are 38 years old.
We both grew up in Simi Valley, California. We met in Jr. High School
at Sinaloa Jr. High in 7th grade when we were 13.  Remained best friends all through
Junior High and High School.
We were married just out of high school. Raised two daughters. 
Our oldest is Alycia, she is a brown belt second degree in karate,
loves to sing, theater arts and being the center of attention.
She is also attending Antelope Valley College. Our youngest is Brittanie,
She usually plays the "Keeper" position in soccer, but has been battling chronic
migraines which has resulted in her having to do independent study
for her first year of high school.  She loves music, animals,
skateboarding and photography.
We bought a house in Palmdale, CA in 1996 and have lived here ever since.
We lead a fairly quiet life.  Bill is a senior computer field technician for Rite Aid
Drug stores.  I have been a stay at home mom since my daughter Brittanie
was born in 1994.  I Spend my time writing Christian poetry, co-coaching AYSO
soccer with my husband, and dabbling in website design.
We are all avid movie buffs, enjoy reading and spending time with our family and pets.
We have two dogs (Mandy and Toby), and two fuzzies (Sam and Stormy),
and 2 rats (Prudence and Ollie, one of which I think is a demon and it's not Prudence).
Bill and I both struggled with Obesity since about 1992.  We both decided to
have weight loss surgery in 2006.  We underwent the RNY procedure with Doctor
Nazarian at Liv-Lite on April 26, 2006.  Yes we both had it done the same day.
Bill went in at 7:30 am...I went in at 1:15 am.  And we recovered together.
It's a personal choice. I do know some people that did not have the best experiences
but that may have to do with their surgeon or underlying health factors.
Bill and I had no adverse effects.  Bill lost 250 lbs and I lost 150 lbs.
And we are enjoying life again. Healthier than we have been in years.
