George: born 1919 died 1989 married 1946 Ida Russo???
George was the stalwart one of the bunch. He was a big guy, over 6’ tall and at least 200 lbs. He played football and was in the army…. He lettered and won a little gold football when he played at Dundee high school. He was in the army during WWII stationed on Panama he was a radar tech. While radar was being invented.
George had a model T pickup about the same time Wayne had that old Pontiac. I was a little kid but I remember the cars and them sharing an anti shimmy device. Both cars had worn out tie rod ends so the front wheels shook like a shopping carts, I'm guessing the anti shimmy device was some kind of spring loaded thing that put some pressure on the tie rod end ends. They'd change the thing to whosever car that wanted to drive nonshimming. The one story I (Bryson) remember was when he had a snake crawling on a piano while he played I think George died of a heart attack too.

George's obituary as printed in the Monroe Evening News, a Michigan paper.

This looks like some kind of uniform. Army? He's pretty young but you never know.

A school picture.

Another school another picture.

Jumping up to army days

And then he came home from the army.

Next.....

Then he spent the rest of his life working like the rest of us trying to afford marriage, kids and a house.
