subjects with super realistic detail has won the accolades of

Born and raised in California, Patti Wilson lives with her husband, Don, in a rural resort area near many lakes and the Sierra Nevada mountains. It is here that the majority of her wildlife art is created. First, through sketches and photography, and then completed in her studio with oil on canvas.

Her most recent exhibits include the Pacific Rim Wildlife Art Show in Seattle, Washington; Southeastern Wildlife Expo. in Charleston, South Carolina; Reflections of Nature Wildlife Art Show in Fallbrook, California; Florida Wildlife Expo. in Orlando, Florida; Wildlife Art Festival in Redlands, Ca; and the Southern Wildlife Festival in Decatur, Alabama. She has been selected the Artist of the Year for the 2000 California Open Wildlife Festival in San Diego, California. Her painting "Up For the Night" won best of show at the Wildlife Festival in Decatur, Alabama and "Down on the Lake" won best of show at the Kern Island Art Festival in Bakersfield, California and first place at the California Open Wildlife Art Show in San Diego, California.

She has studied with master wildlife artist John Seerey-Lester of Venice, Florida; Gamini Ratnavira of Fallbrook, California; artist Rill Underwood of Santa Barbara, California and artist Winnie DeSchutter of Bakersfield, California.
