I have been trying to find what happened to Dorinne McKay. I spoke to Dorinne's mother about 1949 and she said that Dorinne had been modeling at Hattie Carnegie's store and was about to be married. New York City will release the records for marriages after fifty years. For reasons best known to them, all records are filed under the husband's name. They may eventually come up with Ms McKay's husband's name, but I have little faith that they will.
