Note: Admiral Hyland later became Commander in Chief U.S. Pacific Fleet (CinCPacFlt) from 11/30/67 to 12/5/70).  Retired from service Jan. 1, 1971.
Retired Admiral Hyland passed away on Oct. 26, 1998 in Honolulu, HI. (Obituary)

Omar Bradley Arrives On Board USS Constellation

Retired General of the Army, Omar Bradley arrived on board the USS Constellation in the Tonkin Gulf.  5-Star General Bradley was noted as the mastermind of the European Invasion in WWII, serving with General Eisenhower.
